Just like the first time she came, we asked Michelle to teach us more of her brain-busting body-bending belly dance drills! Here we go again!
Read Between the Lines
Saturday, July 22, 1:00-3:00pm
Break out of the “tribal fusion” box with this extension workshop! We will be creating interesting shapes, clean lines and dramatic extensions in learning to use the space around you! I will also go over some of my personal flexibility exercises that you can do with or without a partner to increase flexibility in the spine and shoulders.
Sunday, July 23, 10:00-12:00
How slow can you go? Start by learning a few combos at mid-tempo, then take parts or all of each and slow them waaaay down. Can you still command attention? It is the INTENTION. We will also talk about how subtle dynamic shifts using fast-twitch movement over stillness can bring your dance to the next level.
Sunday, July 23, 1:00-3:00pm
Learn an original choreography inspired by Vintage film star Debra Paget from her work in “Princess of the Nile” complete with that “old hollywood” flair, drama and stylization!
Thank you for registering! You will receive a confirmation email once your payment has been received.
